Set styling and prop buying and location scouting

It was a pleasure to collaborate once again with Kingsley Peters to create shots for Motorpoint. For this job, I was responsible for location scouting, wardrobe, and set dressing. The technical challenges and complications we faced on set only added to the excitement and satisfaction of the project.

One of the most exhilarating aspects of this project was experimenting with wardrobe. Kingsley gave me free rein, but with a very tight budget, which pushed me to be even more creative. I thrive under these constraints, as they compel me to find innovative solutions. Once the wardrobe was approved for each model within the budget, I selected key pieces and coordinated with the cast to incorporate items from their own wardrobes. This not only saved costs but also personalized the looks.

Building a warm rapport with the cast before the shoot is something I always prioritize, as it helps get the best performance from the models. The spontaneous collaboration on set, working with a rough idea of what the models would wear, kept my creativity and problem-solving skills sharp. Navigating these technicalities and complications, such as ensuring continuity, maintaining the integrity of the brand's image, and adapting to unexpected changes, is where I truly excel and find the most fulfilment.
