Nick is a director whose path to storytelling began with a bold shift from the structure of the military to the creative unpredictability of film. Since 2018, he’s moved through the industry from AD and production roles on major BBC and SKY series to finding his voice behind the camera.

His debut short Queens marked that transition, earning recognition at BAFTA-qualifying festivals including Raindance and Iris Prize, where it was runner-up for Best British Film and streamed for a year on All4.

Backed by Left Bank Pictures, he trained at the National Film and Television School. His graduation film went on to win Gold at the 2023 Cannes Lions Young Directors Award. He’s also been selected for the BBC Casualty Directors’ scheme in 2025 and continues to ground himself in production, recently spending over a year on ITV’s Joan.

Nick is a skilled, emotionally attuned storyteller, drawn to work that favours honesty over spectacle. He’s a go-to director for campaigns that demand sincerity, not spin, and for brands looking to move beyond the clickbait churn.
